LiveData’s Management Team brings together the key skill sets needed to keep the company on a powerful trajectory.
LiveData develops and deploys surgical workflow solutions for operational efficiency and patient safety. Surgery departments using LiveData PeriOp Manager's perioperative software and systems have documented significant improvements in KPIs including block utilization, case scheduling accuracy, first-case-on-time-starts, cancellations, and turnover.
Integrating with organizations’ Electronic Health Record (EHR), LiveData’s SaaS solution enables high-performance clinical teams to complete more surgeries per day with the same staff and resources, providing millions of dollars of incremental margins and increased patient safety.
LiveData started building surgical solutions when the company was invited to become part of the Center for Integration of Medicine & Innovative Technology (CIMIT) Operating Room of the Future project at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The U.S. Army Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) issued a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award to LiveData to fund this pioneering development.
Selected by 90 hospitals with over 670 operating rooms, more than 1 million surgeries have been performed using LiveData. Leading medical institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and over 55 Veterans Health Administration facilities have chosen LiveData to improve patient safety, team communication, and perioperative access and efficiency.
LiveData was selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2024, its fifth consecutive year on the list. In 2019, the company was named one of 25 Forbes Small Giants. LiveData is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
